Should I buy the Nano Cube 24g or the AquaPod 24g with Halides?
I want to buy one of these two, but its tough to decide. the nano cube is $100 cheaper, and it supposedly has better filtration than AquaPods, but I’ve heard halide is the way to go. I figure if I buy the Nano Cube I can see how anemones and soft corals do under the light and if i really want to, sometime in the future i can buy the nano cube metal halide light upgrade. Which is the better decision? Should I stick with the nano cube and get a tank going (i can afford live rock and sand to get the tank started cycling) and have the option for the future to upgrade? or should i get the AquaPod which might not have as good as filtration and are less popular, but nontheless having the 150W metal halides (that means less money to spend on live rock and sand and everything i need for now)
I would go with the better filtration if you want the tank for fish if you just want corals and stuff then you have to go with the metal halides. so it really depends on what you want but for fish and inverts the filtration is important. this is a great web site to ask questions about marine tanks. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/index.html
